Raw Power and Race Proven Performance
Power is a construct of precision components and race engineering. However, it must embody endurance and reliability as well. Ford Performance Racing supplies the heart of the GT1. From its race heritage at LeMans in the 1960s to the modern day GT, the 5.2 Liter Supercharged Aluminum Block V8 produces a staggering 1,200 peak HP and 900 Lb-ft of torque. Connected to a Ricardo 6-Speed manual transmission as ll original Ford GTs were and a stress tested Limited Slip differential on our home track at Circuit of the Americas.
